What is up with the Gas Prices?

Come on really, I know we all are feeling about the same way. This is just dumb we are trying to pull out of a recession and yet gas prices keep going up. This is where the govt. needs to set there sights but hold on they won't do that as they make money on this to. I just think there should be a cap on gas like NFL teams have on spending for their players. If they did this for even a year I bet our economy would get a good boost as what we would be saving on gas would help in other areas. I know I am not completely in the know I just though this seemed like a good idea. I live over 42 miles from where I work and I know I am not the only one that commutes that are if not further. So if gas keeps going up I may not have a choice but to find a job closer to home that doesn't pay as well, which if a lot of people are in this boat would hurt the economy also.

Do unto others what God would do.

Why is it that most of the time we expect something out of a good deed. Why not do good just to give God a chance to shine. I myself have been caught in this a lot, as I do something good for others and expect something out of it instead of just saying it was my pleasure to help someone in need or just to do something nice for someone else. We as God's creation have longs lost the sight that it is not our works that get us in heaven all we have to do is believe and except his gift of external life, thats all. So when we do something for someone to help them or just to be nice then leave it at that. Do you think we we arrive in heaven that God is going to say to us well now that I have given you this gift what are you going to do for me?

Get over it.

For my first blog and maybe a lot more to come I figure why not talk about the things people are afraid to talk about. Why is it that people are so afraid to say what is on their mind. Is it because anytime you say something you have to worry about being sued for stepping on someones toes. I believe that if it offends you suck it up and go on there is no reason to get out of all bent out of shape. No matter what you say there is going to be someone you upset. It could be sunny and 75 degrees outside and just the most perfect day yet someone will have a problem with that. It is to warm, it is to cold, the sun is to bright. Who cares just close your month and enjoy the fact that we are here and alive.
